Dragon's blood (Croton Lechleri) contains a broad range of naturally-occurring compounds, many of which have been well studied. The sap is rich in protective antioxidant phenols, and anti-inflammatory compounds of various kinds. Due to these compounds, Dragon's blood sap helps to protect the cells of the skin, and reduces redness and swelling. It also contains a group of compounds called proanthocyanidins, which actually repair collagen, the lattice-like main protein that makes up much of our tissues. Additionally, Dragon's blood contains taspine, a known tissue-healing agent. The sap also demonstrates antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activity. This is why Dragon's blood is so widely used on infectious skin conditions of all kinds with great success.
Here is what you need to know about Molluscum Contagiosum?
"My doctor told me to order Poxiderm for molluscum. “What is molluscum contagiosum?" We hear that question daily from patients calling to order Poxiderm, so you are not alone.
Molluscum contagiosum is a viral infection that causes a mild skin rash. The rash looks like one or more small growths or wart-like bumps (called mollusca) that are usually pink, white, or skin-colored. The bumps are usually soft and smooth and may have an indented center.

My 2 year old had this problem on his legs and arms. After using this product 2 times per day for 2 weeks, the areas began to dry up and have gone away. This is a good product and I am glad our dermatologist recommended it. It does stain your hand some and it is a bit smelly but I would buy it again and recommend to all.

This is the best stuff ever! My daughter has molluskum contagium for over a year now & it went undiagnosed for almost six months. I finally got fed up & took her to the dr. Her dr. said that contagium is very common & it can take up to 2 years to clear up. Until your body recognizes the virus it will not fight it off. Her dr also recommended that we try Poxiderm because he has had many parents that have success with it. For my daughter it took almost 3 weeks for her bumps to start to clear up. She has at least 30 of them. Anyway, I took her back to the dr about a month later because some of the bumps were getting enlarged and very red with a white center. This is what you want to see. They have to get worse before they get better. It only takes a couple of days after they get enlarged to start healing...Thank god. My daughter has been a real trooper, but keeps saying she can't wait to get back to normal skin. The smell is a little bad, but goes away as soon as it is rubbed in the skin.

This stuff is AMAZING. My daughter had these little bumps that looked like skin tags in her armpit for a few months...then they started spreading and clustering up. A trip to the doctor later, we had a diagnosis of mollescum contagiosum. They told us there was NOTHING short of freezing or cutting them off to cure. Healing can take over a year on its own and they spread like wildfire. Look up images like I did and you will be HORRIFIED with how bad it can get. Luckily, I started searching for a natural cure online before I left the doctor's office, and I ordered it before I pulled out of the parking lot. It arrived 3 days later. We've been using it for a week now, she has 20 lesions and they are ALMOST GONE. I am a believer and so grateful that I looked up an alternative to pinning my daughter down while the doctor burns them off with liquid nitrogen. Thank you Poxiderm!! PS..this stuff smells terrible on application but the odor goes away as soon as it dries. It's worth it!

This seems to be a truly excellent product. After just a week of treatment, all the minor lesions disappeared and just one stubborn one remains, which is improving and getting smaller. It is particularly effective in 'knocking out' new lesions as soon as they appear. I have been using in conjunction with Tea Tree Therapy's Eucalyptus/Tea Tree soap on the affected areas, to discourage re-growth. The only slight disadvantage is the rather unsightly colour, but this does disappear with rubbing.

My grandson has four molluscums on his back, and we thought he would have to have them frozen. Much to our surprise the dermatologist recommended Poxiderm to kill the virus. She kickstarted with Beetlejuice, and then we applied the Poxiderm as directed, the molluscums are scabbing over after just a week. Amazing! He is so happy and now will be able to enjoy his summer without being embarrassed.

Miracle medicine! My son has been fighting molloscum for almost a year now.. After 4 trips to the dermatologist for freezing and beetle juice treatments and no clearing up I decided to try this. All 31 bumps were gone with in a month of using this medicine each night!! Love it!!!!

We used this product to treat my sons Molluscom and it works great. Just be deligent with your applications and it isn't long before they disappear.

Dr. Recommended...Used as directed, worked as advertised. According to our physician and his survey he's seeing it be effective in roughly two-thirds of his cases.

Only thing that worked for my son!
He had a raging case of Molluscum? I read forums, talked to Dr.s and other moms. None of their ideas or products worked. I bought this out of pure desperation. This product is the ONLY one that worked for my son.
The Poxiderm is red in color and is a liquid you apply to the molluscum. You apply a dot of liquid then rub around in a circle until the liquid turns into a whitish frothy color. For those who are dealing with multiple lesions like my son, watch for open sores and cross contamination. I wore latex gloves and used a different finger for each application. I went through a ton of gloves, but I have learned from previous mistakes. Molluscum is very contagious and spreads easily.
The next day, his molluscum had scabbed over. Not cured, but it had done more in one application, that a number of other products hadn't done in months. After 2 weeks of use, he is almost molluscum free.
Please note that the liquid does stain.

I need to thank you for what seems to be a miracle cure for molluscum. My 2 kids had them, after numerous trips to dermatologists who burnt the lesions off with no success, and me watching my sons arm turn into a scar factory, I ordered PoxiDerm, I never expected it to work... 2 1/2 weeks later, my son is free of lesions. We are still working on my daughter, but I am sure, in time it will work. After visiting a professional from Childrens memorial, and having her tell me to "continue doing what I am doing because its working", I was reassured that the PoxiDerm was amazing. This has made a horrible situation, tolerable, and hopeful. Thanks. I appreciate it and am thankful for your knowledge and for finding this cure.
